Dakota James Pinkerman, age 24, of Wheatfield, IN passed away on July 20, 2017 at Porter Regional Valparaiso, Indiana.
Dakota was born in Rensselaer, IN on Oct. 12, 1992 the son of Kenneth Anderson and Lora (Pinkerman) Powell. Dakota had lived most of his life in Rensselaer, Indiana. He was employed by Vanguard Monon, IN as a trailer assembler. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Dakota is survived by; his mother, Lora (Darrell) Powell of Wolcott, IN.; his father, Kenneth Anderson of Wheatfield, IN.; a brother, Garrett Pinkerman of Wolcott, IN.; maternal grandparents, Terrie and Ora Calvert of Francesville, IN.; two half-brothers, Mark (Patty) Mitchell of FL., and Derek Brown of Rochester, IN.; three uncles, Wade (Maddie) Calvert of Francesville, IN., Nolan (Dawn) Calvert of Francesville, IN, Dean (Mary Lou) Anderson of Wheatfield, IN., an aunt, Karen Fitch of Angola, IN.; step-paternal grandparents, Jerry and Karen Deno of Wolcott, IN.; a step-brother, Dalton Powell of Plano, TX.; two step-sisters, Shelby Powell of Francesville, IN., and Carli Powell of Wolcott, IN.; nephews, nieces and many cousins.
Dakota is preceded in death by, his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Maxine Anderson.
