Dakota Ethan Morris, 19, of Anderson, passed away from the results of an automobile accident on October 6, 2020.
He was born on August 7, 2001 in Anderson, Indiana where he lived all his life. Dakota graduated from Anderson High School in 2020 where he excelled on the soccer team. He loved roller skating, playing baseball, going to the junkyards and loved working on cars. He loved ACDC, NF, Pizza King Pizza, drama class, and was an amazing artist.
Dakota is survived by his loving parents, Darcy (Chris) Morris Halsell and Steven (Tassy) Hughes; siblings, Nicole Sims, Michael Sims, Douglas Brumback, Alexis Hughes, Xavier Collins, Heath Halsell, Zaria Hughes, Steven Hughes, Jr., Willow Hughes; grandparents, Dixie (Sid) Morris Newton, David (Beth) Halsell, Susan Hughes; great-grandmother, Dorothy Humphrey; uncle, D Derrick Morris; aunts, Donna Duncan, and Amanda (Jeremy) Stork; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; his girlfriend, Sera Boudeaux; special friends, Lyndia (Sabrina Rowe) Swink, Curtis Vibbert, and Christian Contreras; and his beloved cats, Max and Katie.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dylan Morris; and grandfathers, David W. Morris and Donald W. Hughes.
