Daisey Pauline Reed, age 100, of Grafton, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the residence of Donna Mayle.. She was born in Grafton August 12, 1915. The daughter of the late Walter Gay Cross and Arlie Mae Nutter Cross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Reed, Sept. 12, 1987.
She retired from Maryland Training School For Boys , and was a cottage parent.
Pauline is survived by; two grandsons; Rollin Reed, NY., Randell Reed, NC.
Great-grandchildren; Ryan Miller, Roman Reed, Jasmine Reed, one brother; Paul Cross and wife Anna, Grafton, one daughter-in-law Rozland Reed, Close friends; Sue Tingler and husband Jim, and Barbara Matthews, both of Grafton, two special nephews; Paul “Pate” Cross and wife Sherri, and Kenneth Cross and wife Suzanne, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents , and husband, Pauline was preceded in death by; one son : Richard Reed, three brothers; Howard Cross, Hayward Cross, Harold Cross, three sisters; Mabel Martin, Betty “Booty” Mason, Veda L. Upton.
