     Daisy Moore Barnett, 98, went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2013.  She was born in Langdale, Alabama on January 30, 1915.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, George Lewis Moore and Mamie Kellum Moore, and her brothers, J.D. Moore and Frederick Lewis Moore, Sr.

     She is survived by her daughter, Marie (Richard) Compton, Prattville, Alabama; granddaughters, Sonya Stephens Tafolla, Westminster, California, and Karen Marie Vidal, Belim, Brazil; great-grandchildren, Danielle Kline, San Juan Capistrano, California, Jailyn Nicolle Tafolla, Sacramento, California, Dainel Vidal, and Alex Vidal, Huntington Beach, California; and three great-great grandchildren.

     She is also survived by special nephew, Lewis (Gail) Moore, LaGrange, Georgia, nephews, W. L. Moore, James (Susan) Moore, Auburn, Georgia; nieces, Janelle (Wayne) Grice, Lake Hartwell, Georgia, Wynona Gosdin, Franklin, Georgia; great-niece, Leonna (Derek) White, Huguley, Alabama; and close relatives, Ted and Marguerite Cremshaw.

     She was associated with J.A. Kirven, Columbus, Georgia, and Consolidated Millimery Company, Dallas, Texas, representing them in leading department stores in Tampa, Florida, Gainesville Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, and New Orleans, Louisiana.  She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Columbus, Georgia, and in her later years, Community Chapel Church of God in Lanett, Alabama.
