Daisy was fond of babies and children. The young mothers entrusted Daisy with their babies during morning worship service.
In addition to her parents, the following siblings preceded her in death- Leon Matthews, Mary Matthews, Phyllis Tart, and Francis M. Moffitt (Byron Moffitt-deceased).
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: four brothers; William, Garland, Steven (Diane) and Donald (Robin) of Siler City, NC; six sisters, Lena Brooks of Siler City, NC, Rosa Evans (Melvin) of Arizona; Sharon Siler (Tony), Ivey M Smith (Michael), Beatrice Matthews, and Betty McCrimmon (Maurice) of Siler City, NC and a brother-in-law, Sam Tart of Siler City, NC (Phyllis Tart-Deceased) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
