HAVERHILL – Daisy M. (Stanley) May, 70, longtime resident of Haverhill, MA, born on March 27, 1952, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2022, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
Daisy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, cousin and friend. Along with her parents, Joshua and Neddie Stanley, Daisy was predeceased by her brother James Stanley, great-niece Doris May Young and beloved dog Gamby.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Richard May, Sr.; two sons, Richard May, Jr. and significant other Emmy and son James May; grandson James May, Jr.
Daisy graduated from Saugus High School in 1970. She worked many years in a factory, after that she worked as a care giver. When Daisy was not out thrift shopping or at a yard sale looking for the best deals, you could find her at a crocheting class, or the track betting on the winning horse.
Daisy had the most infectious smile and eyes that lit up a room. She never walked through a door empty handed, always thinking of others. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
