Daisy Augusta Bryant (Mama) 91, of Landis, NC passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, December 16, 2022.
Born in Bradenton, Florida on September 7, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Asa Augustus and Frances Lucile Gullett. Daisy graduated from Madison College in Tennessee with a Nursing Degree in 1952. Over her Nursing career of 37 years, she worked in many areas including Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, Neurology, ICU, and CCU in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina. She met the love of her life at Madison College, Lane Julian Bryant (LJ), and they were married on December 19, 1951, in Montgomery, Alabama. They had 2 sons James Michael and Stephen Lane and they loved to travel around the United States and Europe.
She was a lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and had a deep faith in God. She loved to study her Bible and pray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lane (LJ) and her son, James Michael. Her hope is that everyone she loved will love and worship Jesus and be with her in Heaven when Jesus comes again.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Steve Bryant, and wife Dawn of Kannapolis, NC; her beloved grandchildren, Sherry, and husband John Klaver Jr. of Salisbury, NC, Chris Bryant and wife Tiffany of Landis, NC. Also her 5 beautiful great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Vanessa Bryant and Ariella, John III, and Abigail Klaver.
We would like to thank all our family and friends for their love and prayers and for helping us celebrate the life of Daisy (Mama). A special thanks to the Atrium Health Nursing Honor Guard for helping us celebrate her Nursing Career.
