Daisy Aleman, 73, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on April 1, 2019.
Daisy was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to parents of Pablo and Modesta Ortiz Figueroa. She lived in NY until 2004 when she relocated to Florida. To Daisy’s credit plus many testimonials worked as an insurance agent helping and assisting people to plan their lives as they manage their future. Daisy also was a skilled crafter, a talented artist and painter, an accomplished bowler, and a novice at dominos. Daisy last year won the women’s championship of The Spanish American Club’s Annual Dominos Tournament. Daisy was a sassy, savvy, and vivacious fun-loving woman who danced to the beat of her own drum with a zest for life who always loved her family unconditionally.
Daisy is survived by her adoring and loving husband, Ruben who shared her life of 42 years; beloved mother of John, David, and Scottie Peraza; cherished grandmother of John Paul, Nicholas, Gabriele, Christopher, Matthew Peraza, and Vonnette Giron; devoted great grandmother to Jezenya, Isaiah, Eden, Nico and Myla; dear sister of Marta Rascona, Raquel O’Connor, Frances Barrett, Edward Figueroa, and the late Pablo Figueroa, Jr.
