Those left to honor Jeanne’s memory are her husband, Luther of Newton; three daughters, Jackie (Norman) Kool of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Paula Meyer of Waukee, Iowa; and Beth Current of Marietta, Georgia; her three step sons, Stephen (Judy) Rhodes of Iowa City, Iowa; David (Edna) Rhodes of Wonewoc, Wisconsin; Nelson (Mary) Rhodes of Dickson, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, six step grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Leila (Stewart) Chapman; first husband, Jack Paschal in 1965; daughter, Julie Paschal in 2003; brother, Don Chapman and sister, Ruth Chapman.
Jeanne was a graduate of Newton High School in 1940. She had worked for several years in the Product Testing Department at the Maytag Company; and was also a great mom and homemaker.
