Cyrilla Huene of Carlyle died Thursday December 17, 2009 at the Carlyle Healthcare Center at the age of 89.
She was born June 12, 1920 in Oakville, IL the daughter of Louis and Sophie (Schmitt) Erlinger. Cyrilla married Vincent Huene at St. Cecilia Church in Bartelso on June 12, 1942; he preceded her in death on September 14, 2009.Along with her husband and parents Cyrilla was preceded in death by a daughter; Sandra Lou Huene, three brothers; Ray Erlinger, Alvin “Trix” Erlinger, and Laverne “Blue” ErlingerMrs.
Huene is survived by three sons; Rick Huene and wife Debbie of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Tim Huene and wife Karen of Ottawa, Kansas, Carroll Huene and wife Dottie of Carlyle, a sister; Marge Pax and husband Richard, two brothers Adrian Erlinger and wife Helen, Erwin Erlinger and wife Edna, five grandchildren; Kelly, Kyle, Heather, Ryan, and Eric, one great grandchild; Kaylee Shupert.Cyrilla was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carlyle.
