Cynthia Sue “Cindy” Kemp, 58, of Galesburg, died on Monday, June 24, 2019, 2:47 PM, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria.
Cindy was born on September 8, 1960 in La Grange, Georgia. She was the daughter of James Sullivan and Gearlene McVay-Babe.
Cindy is survived by her life partner, Maureen Trayes of Galesburg; her son, Martin Lloyd of Knoxville; her father, James of Wisconsin; two sisters, Brenda Strametz-Wixforth of Wisconsin and Mary Schmidt of Texas; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Barbie McGuire.
Cindy had a lively personality. She loved to watch gameshows, go on walks. She also loved her dogs and listening to all kinds of music. Cindy was extremely proud of her Seminole heritage.
