Cynthia Louise McKinney, of Elkhart, Texas, went to be with the Lord just three days before her 63rd birthday. Mrs. McKinney passed away on Tuesday, the 21st day of September 2021 at Legacy at Town Creek. She was born in Crockett, Texas, on the 24th day of September 1958, to parents Delbert Leon McKinney and Margie Lee Shoemaker.
Mrs. McKinney was a faithful servant of the Lord, and she expressed the love she had in her heart to her family daily. “Mamma C” as she was affectionately known, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them as much as possible.
Mrs. McKinney joins in Heaven her parents Delbert and Margie McKinney; son, Vernon Marsh; and brothers, Delbert Lennis McKinney and David Junior McKinney.
She leaves behind her husband, Roy McKinney; daughter, Jessica Smith and husband Jason of Elkhart; sons, Jason McKinney of Hillsboro, and Douglas Marsh and wife Dawn of Waco. Also left to cherish the memories of Mrs. McKinney are her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
