Cynthia Eichorn Laviero Shenuski of Pequabuck, passed away on the morning of August 31st, she was 72. Cindy was born in Bristol, daughter of the late Frank and Sylvia Eichorn. A proud graduate of Bristol High School and a member of the National Honor Society she began her career as a secretary, eventually retiring from Theis Precision Steel. She then took her knitting passion and helped many fellow knitters by opening the Knitting Nest. If she wasn’t knitting, chances are she was baking, fishing, or relaxing on her porch waiting for a hummingbird, admiring her garden and conversing with family and friends. Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her five children and eight grandchildren from her first husband Dominic “Pudgy” Laviero. Gregory Laviero and wife Leslie, daughter Dina and son Dominic of Bristol. Lisa Huebenthal and husband Timothy, daughters Emma, Molly, Lydia and Clara of Southbury. Nancy Laviero of Sudbury, MA. Sally Christiano and husband John and daughter Olivia of Plymouth.

Two brothers, Frank “Sonny” Eichorn of Bristol and Conrad “Butch” Eichorn of Pequabuck. Several cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Cindy is predeceased by her first husband, Dominic Laviero, her second husband, Michael Shenuski and her two sisters Louise Swiklas and Sylvia Gnitzcavich.
