Cynthia Louvina Morton, 81, was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 3, after an extended illness.

She was born to Carrie and Roy Smith in Everetts, Ky., on July 5, 1933.

She leaves behind a sister, Gladys Thelma Smith; a brother, Thurston (Opal) Smith; five children, Mary L. (Gerald) Nord, Nancy A. (the Rev. David) Gaff, Rick D. (Lorraine) Huff, Richard E. Jr. (Robin) Huff and Mickey L. Huff; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; a brother, David D. Smith; a sister, Vida Massie; four husbands, Joseph L. Herman, Richard E. Huff Sr., Thomas Starns and Leroy Morton; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

Cynthia worked in the restaurant industry and at the Goodwill Store in her latter years.
