Cynthia Ethel Weiss, age 81, of Milford, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at home following a long illness. She was the wife of Charles G. Weiss, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late E. Milton and Ethel T. Bruchac, she had been a Milford resident for many years. Mrs. Weiss received her Nursing degree from Norwalk Hospital School of Nursing in 1956. She was a hospital nurse, as well as a school nurse, in NY, NJ and CT. For more than 10 years, she was a clinical instructor of LPN’s at Connecticut Business Institute and Norwalk Technical College, where she was honored by the state of Connecticut for her work.
