Cynthia Elaine (Waltz) Rogers, 67, resident of Whiteland, Indiana passed away January 12, 2021 in Franklin, Indiana.
Cindy was born October 4th, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents Wendell Waltz and Margaret (Lockhart) Waltz.
Cindy was employed at Ameritech for many years working in maintenance administration before retiring in 2000. Most currently, she had been employed by the Adult Active Center in Franklin. Cindy found much delight in flowers and gardening. She enjoyed being an active member in the Trafalgar Homemakers group. Cindy treasured her role as a grandmother, and loved her family. She could often be found reading books while relaxing at home. She also found great joy in listening to gospel and country music. Family was everything to Cindy & she never turned down a chance to make a memory with them.
Cindy is survived by her mother; her husband, Gary Rogers, of Whiteland, Indiana; her six step-children, Amanda Rogers, Jason (Judy) Rogers, Russell Rogers, Jessica Scates, Nathan Scates, Jessica Hart (Schuyler); her six grandchildren, Natalie Rogers, Ava Hart, Annabell Rogers, Damian Scates, Emerald Hart, and Elijah Rogers; her three brothers, Ronald “Sonny” (Becky) Waltz, of Whiteland, Indiana, Donald “Donnie” (Brenda) Waltz, of Trafalgar, Indiana, and Dennis Waltz, of Trafalgar, Indiana; her three nephews, Chad (Anita) Waltz of Whiteland, Indiana, Shaun (Amy) Waltz of Whiteland, Indiana, and Kirk (Robyn) Waltz of Scottsdale, Arizona; her two nieces Jenna (Caleb) Tworek of Martinsville, Indiana and Emily Waltz of Trafalgar, Indiana; her three great nieces and nephews Mia, Kye and Addison.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father.
