Cindy Plampin, age 58, passed away on December 10, 2020.
Cynthia Ann Plampin was born March 8, 1962, in Denver, Colorado. She was the youngest of four siblings, survived by Gene Plampin, Pat Plampin (Diane), and Theresa Bjorge (Mathew).
She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver. She went on to receive a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Later Cindy earned her Masters of Social Work at California State University. This newest degree and her love for people led to her new occupation working for The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless as a Clinical Case Manager.
Cindy was a loving person who truly cared for others, both in her occupation and in her personal life. She was a gentle person who loved her friends and family, especially her nieces—Sara Plampin, Jenna Brito (Chris), Emily Bjorge, and Natalie Bjorge—who called her Aunt Ninny. She introduced them to many fun adventures and experiences.
She loved her pets, including several dogs over the years. She was especially devoted to her cat Little Bit (not so little) that she rescued from her window well as a kitten.
Anyone who knew Cindy knows she loved butterflies, the color purple, and Christmas sweaters (she had a different one for every day of the season). She also enjoyed reading, singing, and playing many games. Cindy will be missed dearly by friends, co-workers, and family.
We look forward to seeing all her family and friends at a memorial later this spring or summer, when conditions allow.
