Cynthia Ann Guzman, age 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Brighton on October 14th, 2020. Cynthia was born in Denver on October 4th, 1958 to Virginia and Marcelino Guzman. She graduated from Brighton High school on May 29th, 1976. Cynthia resided in Brighton the entirety of her life. She was married to her friend and love Kevin Addington in 2001.

First and foremost Cynthia was a dedicated mother to her four children; Sharisa, Ashley, Manual and Halie. She cherished each moment with her children. Cynthia embraced her role as grandma and loved her grandchildren very much. She was well known for her infectious laugh and vivacious personality that could truly fill a room.  Cynthia was an entrepreneur establishing such businesses as Fancee Nails and Hair and a pizza parlor.

Cynthia was an avid garage saler, enjoyed party planning and was known for creating beautiful gift baskets. Red lipstick was her favorite and singing Patsy Kline was her hallmark.  Cynthia was witty and her favorite Disney movie was the Lion King.  She enjoyed scary movies and especially loved scaring her grandchildren.

Cynthia is survived by her husband , Kevin Addington, mother, Virginia Guzman, father, Marcelino Guzman, brother  Andrew Guzman ( Margie),  sister Jolynn Kutz ( Don),  sister , Patsy Debaca, sister, Sandra Castro Guzman, sister Carol Deegan,  brother, Johnny Guzman, brother Junior Guzman and her children, Sharisa Ann Guzman (Joey), Ashley Ann Gonzales, Manual Gonzales (Crystal), and Halie Ann Addington as well as her grandchildren, Ryan, Graicen, Hunter, Jeydin, Marcus, Lelya and great grandson Robert. Cynthia had many aunts, uncles and cousins she loved and deeply touched.   Cynthia is preceded in death by her brother Mark Sandoval.
