Cynthia Ann Barnes went home to be with her LORD JESUS CHRIST, on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Cynthia was born on November 16, 1957 to parents Sylvester Barnes, Jr., and Dorothy (Goins) Barnes.
Cynthia attended Lincoln Elementary, Pierre Moran Middle School and Elkhart Memorial High School, graduating in 1976. Cynthia also received a certificate for successful completion of the keyboarding skills through the Beardsley Family Literacy Program in 1996.
Cynthia worked tirelessly to care of the love of her life, her only son, Ramaro Barnes.
Better known as Cindy, she was a happy, kind and loving person, who never knew a stranger. She loved cooking and was an excellent cook like her mom, Dorothy. Cindy loved cooking for her family as well as looking for people in the neighborhood like Mr. Woodard to feed.
Cindy was very social and loved getting together with family and friends. She loved going to Barnes Park to share a meal at Holiday with family.
Cindy loved singing Praise and Worship Music. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a former member of Church Without Walls. Cindy attended Agape Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed the music and preaching. She was an active member of The Outreach Ministry of Love, where she enjoyed singing and doing street evangelism with Minister Tedario and Rev. Linda Barnes.
Cindy leaves to cherish sweet memories, her son, Ramaro Barnes; Siblings Kenneth Ray Barnes, Minister Tedario (Rev. Linda) Barnes, Mairus (Mike) Barnes, Diane Marshall, Beth Ann Schemenaur; Best Friend/Cousin Quintilla Clarkson and close friend Virginia Robinson. A Host of Nephews, Nieces, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Relatives and Friends and Sister-In-Love Beatrice Barnes.
Family was everything to Cindy.
Cindy is predeceased by parents Sylvester Barnes, Jr., Dorothy Barnes Breckenridge, Sylvester (Phyllis) Barnes, Rickey Edward Barnes, sister-in-love Lena Barnes and long time companion Henry Davis.
