Cynthia Ann (Davis) Wells, age 70, passed away March 26th at her home in Galesburg, IL.
Cindy graduated from Richwoods high school in 1967 and went on to cosmetology school. She then spent the next 50 years servicing the community of Galesburg, IL creating long lasting friendships along the way. Cindy married her high school sweetheart, Gunny Wells on November 11, 1968. Cindy and Gunny enjoyed motorcycle riding, scuba diving, vacationing in the Gulf of Mexico, visiting Las Vegas, and socializing with friends and family.
Cindy was the co-owner of Benny’s Tap and Main Street Pub, popular restaurants and bars in Galesburg.
Cindy always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Connor Wells Espe and Cadie Louise Espe of Las Vegas Nevada. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews playing games, shopping, dancing, and laying in the sun. Throughout her life she was very close to her parents and five siblings. Preceeded in death by her parents Donald and Betty Davis, brother Ricky Davis at age 3, sister Debora Tomlin, granddaughter Casey Ann Espe, and nephew Joshua Davis. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 50 years Gunnard A; daughter, Kimberly (Wells) Espe and husband Richard Espe; two grandchildren, Connor and Cadie Espe; two sisters Cheryl Dagen and Patricia Grice both of Galesburg IL; two brothers, Dorman Davis of Camas, Washington and Christopher Davis of Henderson, IL along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
