Cynthia A. Spengler, 58 of Bethlehem Township passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital Fountain Hill. She was the loving wife of Matthew Spengler for 28 years. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts she was the daughter of Richard and the late Patricia (Mahlon) Tredinnick. Cindy attended Grove City College and was a graduate of Valparaiso University class of 1982 where she studied secondary education and biology. She also took post graduate courses in molecular biology at Lehigh University. She was a science teacher at Lehigh Valley Christian High School and also provided private tutoring. Cindy enjoyed crocheting, gardening, nature walks, sunsets and the seashore. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Bethlehem where she served on the Missions committee. She also participated in various local bible study groups.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Matthew Spengler, daughter Elena Joy Xiaohua Spengler; father Richard Tredinnick of Nazareth; siblings Susan L. Tredinnick of Nazareth and Michael Tredinnick of Gainesville, VA. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Tredinnick who passed away in 2014.
