Curtis Paul Robertson, age 62 entered eternal rest May 3, 2022, at Iberia Medical Center.

Curtis “Coon Dog” Robertson was born in New Iberia, LA on August 9, 1959, to the late Richard “Rob” and Marguerite “Meaux” Robertson. He was a lifelong resident of the Avery Island Community. Coon was a great mechanic and loved turning wrenches, especially on Harley-Davidson’s. On any given day, you could find him out in the yard working on something. His true passion was riding his Harley alongside his brothers, the further the ride the better. His best times were spent at full throttle, with the wind on his face, leather on his back, and the pavement beneath him. He lived for the ride and was as loyal as they come. “Live to ride, ride to live”, he spoke those words with pride. The time has now come, for his final ride. “When the thunder rolls, think of me; I’ll be riding the streets of gold; I’m finally free.”

Curtis is survived by four daughters: Christine ‘Shane” Ransonet of New Iberia, LA, Beth Robertson of New Iberia, LA; Sarah Robertson of New Iberia, LA; and Megan Crotts Richard of Lafayette, LA; Two Brothers: Randolph “Annette” Robertson of Opelousas; Robert “Magoo” Robertson of Erath, LA; one Sister: Lola Helton of South Carolina; three grandchildren: Gabriella Robertson and Elliana Robertson both of New Iberia, LA and Demi Rae Robertson of Erath, LA

Preceded in death by his parents: Richard Robertson and Marguerite Provost; one Brother: Richard “Buzz” Robertson; Nephew: Mark Robertson.
