Curtis N. Floyd, 73, passed away peacefully in his home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on Sunday, October 22, 2006. Curtis was born on March 20, 1933 in Albany, Georgia.
After serving stateside and abroad with the United States Air Force, Curtis retired from the military and settled in the Fort Walton Beach area in 1974.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Hackney and his mother Ida Mae Floyd.
Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Irma M. Floyd; three children, daughter, Kim (Phil) Hutson of Tampa, FL; son, Robert (Katy) Babin of Minnapolis, MN; son Brian (Cathy) Babin of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Jesse, Dylan and Kelly Hutson, Deaubre Babin, Sean Tetpon, Tami Taylor and David Hackney, as well as, eight great-grandchildren.
