Curtis Jay Funk, loving husband and father, 63, of Anderson, passed away on January 12, 2014 at the Community Hospital Anderson.
He was born on December 24, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio and resided most of his life in Anderson. Curtis attended Highland High School. He worked as a correctional officer for Pendleton Reformatory. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Curtis is survived by his loving spouse whom he married April 20, 1990, Sandra Campbell Funk; daughters, Melissa Aletha Stanley of Anderson, Heather Eric Scott Funk of Anderson and Katrina Schoolcraft of Frankton; grandchildren, Kelsea Brown, Kamren Brown, Jayden Funk, Josilyn Stanley, Delaynie Stanley, Bryten Stanley, Audrey Ball and Braelynn Ball; his four-legged son, Beauregard; brother, Lewis Funk Jr.; sister Debbie Pam Merchant; mother-in-law, Cindy Campbell; ex-wife, Margaret Funk; and a niece, Lisa; and nephews, Lewis Funk III, Stone Cash; and several special friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by father, Lewis Funk; mother, Julia Gear Funk; granddaughter, Mackenzie Stanley; and father-in-law, Richard Campbell.
