Curtis “Bud” Bryant of the Walker Springs community of Jackson, AL traded time for eternity on Wednesday, April 18, 2020 at his earthly residence. Born April 30, 1953 to Quincy and Laura Scott Bryant, he was 66 years of age. He united early in life with the Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Walker Springs. he was employed by Dumas Manufacturing in Grove Hill, AL until his health failed him. Bud loved his family and all who met him, always keeping a smile on his face. He loved to sing and thought of himself as being like Lee Williams and Willie Banks, but could actually sing.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Laura and Quincy Bryant; seven brothers, John Wiley Bryant, Fred Bryant, Ira Bryant, King David Bryant, Quincy Bryant, Jr., Willie James Bryant, and Anthony Bryant; three sisters, Gracie Mae Leggett, Carrie Mae Ezell, and Deleenia Jackson; two nephews, Ron Bryant, and Howard Bryant; and niece, Gladys Packer.

Curtis leaves to forever cherish his memories three sisters, Aldora (Joe) Smith, and Bessie Bryant, both of Walker Springs, AL, and Annie (Arnold) Bumpers, Winn, AL; one aunt, Lillie McCarroll, Bronx, NY; a devoted sister-in-law and caregiver, Emma Bryant, Walker Springs, AL; a niece and devoted caregiver, Doris Whittaker, Jackson, AL; a host of nephews including devoted, Albert J. Leggett, Mark Bryant, and Ryan Bumpers; a host of nieces, other relatives and friends including devoted friend, Eddie Pritchett.
