Crystal Carroll O”Day, 18 of Jackson County, was called to her final home to be with Jesus, October 24, 2011 as a result of a vehicle accident. Born July 23, 1993, Crystal attended school in Cottondale, Florida but most recently attended North Marion High School in Citra, Florida. Crystal recently returned to Cottondale, which she referred to as her “hometown”. Set out to begin her life as an independent adult, Crystal was eager to enroll in school and pursue her dream of becoming a cosmetologist. Crystal was a beautiful young woman, with an open, loving heart that was obvious to all who knew her. Crystal loved to laugh, have fun, and enjoy life. Crystal was full of energy and loved being outdoors, she especially loved the beach. She considered many people her “family”. The last years of her life Crystal lived with Connie Sue Archer, Amberlyn and CJ, whom she affectionately referred to as her adopted mom, sister and brother. Crystal is survived by Rebecca Colwell and Kevin O’Day; as well as her sister Stacy O’Day, whom she loved dearly, step-siblings in Tennessee, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends .
