Crystal Naki Campbell was born March 7, 1980 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Christopher Campbell and Carmen Bankhead. Crystal attended Pike High School and graduated in 1997. Crystal  also attended Marion University where she was on the Dean’s list for her vast vocabulary.

Crystal  worked for eight years as an executive secretary at Coca-Cola in Indianapolis, and also worked at numerous exciting jobs in Indianapolis and most excitedly worked as an airline stewardess in Arizona for a short period of time.

Crystal was also known for her wonderful and delicious meals that she cooked for her family. Her homemade cheesecakes and desserts from scratch were wonderful.  She also loved seafood.  She would take her mother and family to numerous upscale seafood restaurants so they could eat escargot and other exotic foods. She was adventurous in the type of foods that she would try. Her family often wondered where she acquired a taste for such foods.  Crystal would cook homemade crab cakes and scallops for her family for the holidays. She would start shopping for the foods for the holidays a month ahead, so she could make sure she would have what she needed on hand to prepare the foods.  Many of her friends and family knew that they could come for the holidays and they would be talking about the food for months later. In fashion Crystal was a girly girl and loved clothes.  She also loved music of all genres. She didn’t care if it was pop, rock and roll, R&B, jazz, or instrumental music. Her music playlist was very  interesting.  Crystal also loved to travel especially with her friends.

Crystal Naki Campbell passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 41 years.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Shantel Campbell and her grandmother, Carol Priest who helped raise her.
