Crisantos “Chorre” Aguilar died peacefully in Harlingen, TX on September 25, 2016 at the age of 84.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evangelina M. Aguilar; his parents, Manuel and Francisca Aguilar; his siblings, Guadalupe Guerra, Rebecca Perez, Juvantino Aguilar, Pedro Aguilar, Marcus Aguilar, and Domingo Aguilar; his children, Rogelio Aguilar, Irma Cruz, Crisantos Aguilar Jr., Criselda Aguilar, and Hector Flores; and his grandson, Alberto Aguilar.
Crisantos is survived by his children, Felipe (Irma) Aguilar, Ilda Aguilar, Jesse (Mary) Aguilar, Olga (Andy) Aguilar, Susana Aguilar, Crisantos Aguilar Jr., Gracie (David) Ramos, Janie Rangel, Mary (George) Bernal, all of Harlingen, and Manuel Galvan of Lovington, NM. He is also survived by his brothers, Antonio Aguilar of Snyder, TX, Alberto Aguilar, Juan Aguilar; his sister, Yolanda (Juan) Sanchez of Harlingen, TX; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchild, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
We would like to thank Dr. Israel Vega, his granddaughter, Crystal Villarreal, the nursing staff at Veranda Rehabilitation Center, and Gentiva Hospice Center for caring for him.
