Craig was born February 21, 1965 to the late Shelby E. (Shelvie) Williams, Jr. and Edith Anne Tapscott Williams.   He was 51 years old.  He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 27, 2016.   

Craig was a 1983 graduate of Hartselle High School.  He was a member of Hartselle High football and basketball teams.  After high school, Leo joined the United States Army.  After 20 years of outstanding service, he retired as a Human Resources Specialist. Craig loved life, and he lived it to the fullest: Full of spirit, vigor, kindness and a smile to remember.  After retirement from the Armed Services, Craig began his employment with the United States Postal Service in Nashville, TN.  Leo enjoyed serving as a mail carrier.  He made many friends and created lasting memories while working his route.

Leo was preceded in death by his father Shelby E. (Shelvie) Williams, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Bobby L. Chapman and James Albert Smith, III.

Craig Leo leaves to cherish his memory; his wife of 13 years, Fatima Diallo Williams, Antioch, TN; his mother, Edith A. Williams, Hartselle, AL; step-sons: Djiby Ndiaye, Antioch, TN and Papa Samba Ndiaye of Detroit Michigan; four brothers, Fred Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Stevie Williams all of Hartselle, AL and Derrick Williams of Athens, AL; four sisters, Darlene Williams, Falkville, AL, Linda Williams Chapman, Priceville, AL, Renate Williams Orr, Decatur, AL and  Joyce Williams Smith of Hartselle, AL; brothers-in-law; Amady Diallo and Moussa Diallo of Solingen, Germany; Abou Diallo and Aliou Diallo of Cologne, Germany, Ousseynou Diallo and Younouss Diallo of Columbus, Ohio;  sister-in-law, Diye Diallo of Columbus, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
