BRIGHAM CITY – Craig Johnson Woodland, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 26, 2016.
Craig was born on August 15, 1954 in Brigham City, Utah a son of Clifford Perry Woodland and Carrol Johnson Woodland.
He grew up in Willard and attended Willard Elementary, Box Elder Jr High and graduated from Box Elder High School.
Craig married Jody Ann Olsen on October 7, 1977 in the Ogden LDS Temple.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Craig served in many callings, his favorite being primary chorister.
Craig worked for many years with Fife Rock Products and LeGrand Johnson.
He was a lifetime member of the Brigham Bowmen. Craig enjoyed working with the youth including teaching many nieces and nephews archery. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, camping, and anything outdoors. He enjoyed taking trips to visit the California Olsen’s and Yellowstone.
Surviving are his wife Jody, daughters: Mickel and Kristiann Woodland. Also siblings: Julie (Alan) Curtis, Susan (Rew) Wiley, Jeannine (Jerry) Jensen, Scott (Lucinda) Woodland; Kiersten Nelson, Wendy (Eldon) Anderson, his mother-in-law Joan Olsen, all of his in-law family, numerous nieces, nephews and “adopted” grandkids.
Preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Ross Olsen, niece Carrie Curtis, nephew BJ Olsen and numerous aunts and uncles.
