Craig Alan Simmons
Craig was born in Kansas City, MO, May 12, 1960 and left us, Sept. 18, 2015.After the family was transferred to EAFB in 1975 and moved to Destin 1978, Craig did the usual teenage things, climbing the water tower and jumping off the Destin bridge. He joined the USMC at 19. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Paul Simmons, his step-father, W.D. (Bill) Franklin and his sister, Paula Seaton. He was survived by his mom, Betty Franklin, sisters and brothers, Charmae, Lisa, Richard, John, Jennifer and Julie, 10 nieces and nephews and 1 great niece. He hung out with his homeless friends here in Destin, drinking their alcohol which finally took him from us.
