Courtney Hei-Ra Smith, 23, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at home.
She was born June 22, 1986 in Seoul, Korea and has been a resident of Bristol most of her life. Courtney was a graduate of Bristol Eastern High School, Class of 2004 and was attending Eastern Connecticut State University. She was employed at the Hampton Inn in Farmington.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Jill (McKinney) Smith of Bristol; her brother, Jason Smith of Bristol; her grandmothers, Claire Burgess of Bristol and Katherine Smith of Forestville; her aunt, Jackie Hogerty of Farmington; her uncles, Robert McKinney of Shelton and Barry Smith of Bristol; and several cousins.
