Costantino “Costa” Scaffidi, 91, of Cocoa Beach, FL, died peacefully on July 2, 2013. Costa was born July 14, 1921, in New York City, NY.
He graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York City, New York in 1940. After graduating he worked briefly before being drafted into the United States Army in 1943. He later used his GI Bill to attend Montana State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1951 and, subsequently, held several mechanical design and engineering jobs.
