Cory Louis Willett, 30, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 28th, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Cory was born on Friday, January 26, 1990 in Martinsville, Indiana to Bruce Willett and Tara (Barrick) Collier.

Cory was a decorated Sergeant in the U.S. Army and proudly served as a truck driver for 13 years. For his military service and accomplishments, he was awarded The Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, The Army Commendation Medal, The Army Achievement Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, The Army Service Ribbon, The Overseas Service Ribbon, The Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” Device, The Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and The Driver and Mechanic Badge with Driver-Wheeled Vehicles Clasp.

Cory enjoyed to spend his leisure time fishing, riding his motorcycle, and training as a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter.

Cory is survived by his wife, Angelina (Villegas) Willett; his three sons, Colt Willett, Zayne Willett, and Zeke Willett, all of Greenwood, Indiana; his parents; his step-mother, Sheryl Willett, of Martinsville, Indiana; his step-father, Dave Collier, of Bloomington, Indiana; his sister, Caylee Willett, of Chicago, Illinois.
