Corrine was born on February 12, 1940, at Clearwater, the daughter of Andrew and Leona (Sehi) Mueller. She was raised on the family farm and attended rural grade school. She graduated from Clearwater High School in 1958 and in 1961 she earned her Register Nurse Degree from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Yankton, SD. Later, she earned her Bachelor’s Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Corrine married David Peterson in 1962. They had three children, Julie Lynn, David Todd and Christine Marie.
She was employed as an RN at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for 11 years. In 1973, she began employment as a Practical Nurse Instructor at Northeast Community College for 23 years until her retirement.
In 1985, Corrine married Carl Weihe.
Corrine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, the Norfolk Garden Club, Questers, Northeast Nebraska Wood Carvers, Luschen Birders, Northeast Nebraska Master Gardeners and the Bound for Glory Choir.
She is survived by her children, Julie (Larry) Weigum, of Hartington, David Todd (Lois) Peterson, Vine Grove, KY, and Christine (Torrey) French, of Omaha; six grandchildren, Andrew Klein, Marie Noecker, Paul Peterson, Christopher Peterson, Nathan French and Evan French; great grandsons Ben and Zackary Klein and Nolan and Porter Noecker; her stepchildren: Christy Shahnazarian, Cathy Rose, Robert Weihe, James Weihe and David Weihe.
Corrine was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her parents, brother, Mel Mueller, stepson, John Weihe and granddaughter Morgan Klein.
