Corrine Salaiz Ramirez 91, a Silver City resident entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Silver City Care Center.
Corrine was born July 1, 1921 in Hurley, New Mexico to Gil and Simona (Ruiz) Salaiz. She retired from Ft. Bayard Medical Center. After retiring she worked for RSVP volunteer program at several schools. She enjoyed working in her garden. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons-Steve Ramirez from Silver City, Tony S. Ramirez and his companion Linda Nunez from Silver City, grandchildren-Amanda Ramirez from Las Cruces, Rosemary Lopez and companion Peter Magdaleno from Silver City, Eddie Joe and wife Amanda Ramirez from Albuquerque, Alfred (Tate) Saiz from Colorado Springs, Steve Jr., John and Danny Ray Ramirez from Clovis, great grandchildren: Zachery , Jayden and Destiny Ramirez, Christine Delgado and companion Robert Kimberly from El Paso, Paul Roy Delgado Jr. and companion Nicole and Marty Delgado and companion Ashley from Silver City; great- great- grandchildren, Adrianna, Alicia, Kiarah and Reagan Delgado, Jayden Flores and Brandon Kimberly, Zyanya Delgado, a special nephew Bobby and wife Lily Salaiz of Silver City.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gil and Simona Salaiz and two brothers, Albert and Frank (Turko) Salaiz.
