Born June 19, 1936 and passed away October 17, 2021. Corrin “Jack” was born the youngest of eleven children on a farm in Forty Four, Arkansas. He loved playing baseball with his older brothers, especially catching their fly balls in outer field. After finishing high school he moved temporarily to California where he worked in construction. In 1957 Jack joined the United States Navy where he became a U.S. Navy Seabee. He served time on Guam and aboard the U.S. Naval Air Station, Barbers Point, Hawaii. It was at Barbers Point that he met his future bride, Diana Mowry, a U.S. Navy WAVE. They were married September 30th, 1961 after leaving the service. C.J. then became a crane operator for the Tanner Construction Company in Phoenix for forty years. He helped build bridges and buildings around the state including Bank One Ballpark. He is proceeded in death by his son Corrin J Green Jr, his parents Leona May and Nelson Green, by his sisters Lucille Norris, Laura Turner and Janie Speak, and brothers Calvo, Clarence, Dale, and baby brother, Warren Elliot Green. Also by his sisters and brothers-in-laws, Mary Green, V.G. Green, Bonnie Green, Homer Norris, Woodrow Turner, and Lloyd Speak. He is survived by his wife, Diana Green and son Darrin Douglas Green. Also by his brothers, Robert, Leland, & Ronald, grandchildren Spencer and Katy Green of Phoenix, AZ, Jonah Green of Eugene, OR, and Joshua and Makena Green of Cape Canaveral, FL. He is also leaving behind many wonderful nieces, nephews, neighbors & friends.
