Cornelia McKenney Farmer, 30 of Houston, Texas, formerly of Newnan, GA, passed away October 5, 2016. She was the daughter of Hugh & Carol Farmer of Newnan. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Neal & Grace McKenney, and Hugh Farmer, Jr.
She was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church of Newnan. Cornelia graduated from Newnan High School where she played basketball & softball. She later went to the University of Alabama and was a member of the Phi Mu sorority. After leaving Alabama, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of working in Jackson Hole as a ski instructor for 5 years.
She worked one year in Breckenridge, Colorado and has spent the last 3 years working as an au pair in Houston, Texas for Parker & Victoria Johnson. She is survived by her parents, Hugh & Carol Farmer; grandmother, Charlsie Farmer; brothers, Hugh Farmer IV & Neal Farmer; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
