Cornelia C. Fagner
Newark – Cornelia Catherine “Kay” Fagner, 85 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 18, 2002 at Via Health of Wayne – Newark Campus.
Family and friends may call Wednesday (Aug. 21) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Norman L.
Mrs. Fagner was born the daughter of James and Catherine (Krocke) VanKouwenberg on May 27, 1917 in Marion, New York. She had worked at Quaker Hill in Newark as a file clerk. Mrs. Fagner was a member of the Arcadia Reformed Church.
Mrs. Fagner will be missed by her daughter Marjorie Bixby of Lyons; sons James (Arlene) Fagner and Ronald (Micki) Fagner both of Newark; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great-grandson; sisters Josie DeFisher, and Betty (Ralph) Everdyke; brothers Adrian (Evelyn), Howard (Betty) and Donald (Jean) VanKouwenberg; sisters-in-law Jeanette VanKouwenberg, Lena VanKoevering, Myrtle Fagner and Marjorie Fagner; brothers-in-law James DeVoogt and Ray Spade; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Fagner was predeceased by her husband Arthur W. Fagner on June 3, 2002. sisters Katherine Spade in 1994 and Anna DeVoogt in 2002; brothers John in 1992 and James in 1997.
