Passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Age 95. Corinne was born on April 8, 1921, the daughter of the late James Warren Cairnes and Mildred Elizabeth (Brandhill) Cairnes.
She had worked as a realtor in the Traverse City area for many years. Among her hobbies, she especially enjoyed golfing and had won several golf championships at the Country Club of Lansing. She was married to Dr. Robert O. Drews on February 6, 1953; he preceded her in death on February 6, 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Max) Wellman; grandchildren, Max Robert Wellman and Alexander William (Alexis Cummings) Wellman & Pamela Grimes Horton and Melinda Grimes Anderson. She was preceded in death by her son, Fred Grimes; and two brothers.
