Corinne Mary Halal age 91 of Danbury passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Danbury Hospital.

Corinne was born February 9, 1931, in Worcester, MA to the late Elias and Isabelle (Najemy) Halal. Corinne attended public schools and college in Worcester, MA, and was a librarian at the Worcester Public Library System for over 40 years.

Upon her retirement,  she volunteered at the library reading to children for the Head Start Program

. In 2012 she moved to Danbury CT to be close to her family members, where she resided for 10 years.

After Corinne moved to Danbury, she became a member of St.

Corinne loved ice cream, Middle Eastern food, and especially watching birds. She enjoyed watching baseball and was a Boston Red Sox and a NY Mets fan.

She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She is predeceased by her brother Charles Halal, and her sister Louise Hajj.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Mary Hajj-Platt and her husband Andrew, Charles Hajj and his husband Paul, Christine Goodsell, and her husband Eric and (daughters) Katie, Grace, and Charlotte. Charles Halal and his wife Cynthia, Susan Afshari, and her husband Reza and (daughters) Darya, Sara, and Dana, Mark Halal, and his wife Judy and (sons) James and Daniel, Donna Rizzardi, and her husband Dan and (son) Lorenzo and many cousins.
