Corazon Cord-Cruz (nee Antonio) age 85, of Lansing, IL, was called by the Lord on Friday, April 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
Corazon is survived by her loving children; two daughters, Carmina (Gerardo) Salgado and Mary Aileen (Terence) Dunleavy; sons, Edwin (Evyan) Cord-Cruz, Danilo (Marinelia) Cord-Cruz and Joseph (Erlynn) Cord-Cruz; 13 precious grandchildren, Troy, Leroy, Gilroy, Gabrielle, Mia, Brenan Kevin, Nikko, Hannah, Karlo, Cesco, Doyle, Cami and Mika; dear Goddaughter and niece, Bubut J. Smith; and many other loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel R. Cord-Cruz; loving daughter, Theresa Hester-Johnson; Parents, Silvino Antonio Sr. and Pacencia San Antonio; siblings, Soledad, Romeo, Silvino Jr., Adoracion, Norma and Rogelio.
Corazon was born in the Philippines and came to the United States in 1985. She retired from the auditor’s office of the Nueva Ecija Provincial Government.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
