1933~2020On Wednesday, September 30, 2020 Cora Ruth (Borham) Rosenstiehl, loving mother of four children, passed away at the age of 86. Cora was born on October 2, 1933, in Philadelphia to Elmer Uriah and Anna Louise (O’Connell) Borham. Cora was raised in Philadelphia and attended West Catholic Girls High School. Later she moved to Upland PA and lived most of her adult life in Delaware County, PA. Her final months were spent in Beaver County, PA where she moved to be closer to her daughters who were available to help with her was married to Francis J. Rosenstiehl for ten years. She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Ghazarian, Melissa Silvers (Tim) and Alicia Mauer (Tim Cowperthwaite), son-in-law Garo Ghazarian, and daughter-in-law Kathleen Rosenstiehl. Cora was predeceased by her son Francis Anthony Rosenstiehl. She loved her grandchildren – Eveleen Ghazarian, Joseph Ghazarian who she lived with for many years and helped raise, Tony Martin-Rosenstiehl, Danielle (Martin-Rosenstiehl) Arenvias (Alan), Ashleyy Shaffer, Nick Shaffer and Mike Shaffer, and great granddaughter Lillianna Arenvias. Cora was one of six siblings, and is survived by sisters Louise Thompson and Audrey Frank and predeceased by brother David Borham and her sisters Catherine Bassill and Eileen had a career in secretarial work for several companies, and had fond memories of her job as an Administrative Assistant at Scott Paper and the friends she made there. She was most contented when surrounded by family. Her happiness was found with her loved ones. She loved animals and will be missed by her little companion dog Violet, who brought her so much joy. She had a passion for gardening and for growing house plants. She sang in the church choir and the Arch Diocese of Philadelphia Choir and was a Eucharistic Minister. She loved art, music, and nature. Most of all she loved God, and found peace through daily prayer, devotions, saying the Rosary and attending daily Mass as long as she was
