CAMPBELL, Mrs. Cora L. died Friday morning November 11, 2011. Cora was born February 1, 1928, in Trommald, Minnesota a daughter of Clyde and Joyce Fleener Brooks. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1938 and owned and operated Home Bakery for 20 years. Cora also worked at Western Michigan University for 11 years before retiring in 1992.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William G. Campbell on December 17, 1997; a son, Robert Campbell in January 2004; and a sister, Shirley Thomsen.
Cora is survived by a daughter, Joyce Denis Waltz of Three Rivers; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Campbell of Texas; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Hollis Brooks of Bonners Ferry, ID; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
