Cora Esche nee Van Henkelum age 80 of Barrington, Il. Went home to heaven after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday April 1st at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Cora was best known for her loving and caring devotion to her family and friends, as well as her generosity and dedication to serving others.

She will be remembered for her strong will and the many lessons passed on to her children and grandchildren She was the Beloved Wife for nearly 59 years of Clarence Esche A Loving Mother of Cheryl (Robert) Reinitz of Quincy CA., Glen (Grace) Esche of Crystal Lake, Alan (Beth) Esche of Crystal Lake, Nancy (Steven) Schmit of Hawthorn Woods, and Jane (Steven) Warady of Lake Zurich Grandmother of Alexander Esche, Michelle Esche, Coryn Schmit, Elizabeth Esche, Laura Esche, Samuel Warady and Jessie Schmit Dear Daughter of the Late Jesse nee Mooi and Henry Van Henkelum Sister of Margaret (Mark) Garritson, Loretta (the Late Jesse) Schiera, Ann (Herm) Werkmann and the Late Whitey (Shirley) Van Henkelum, Grace (the Late Robert) Busch, Bertha (the Late James) Colby, Gerald Van Henkelum, James (Pat) Van Henkelum & Andrew Van Henkelum Sister in Law of Raymond Esche Also survive by many Nieces and Nephews who will greatly miss her. Memorials to The Hospice of Northeastern Illinois 410 South Hager Ave. Barrington, Illinois 60010, The Presbyterian Church of Barrington, or any other charitable organization.

Cora was a Volunteer for the Hospice of Northeastern Il., Meals on Wheels and Welcome Wagon 40 Year Member of The Presbyterian Church of Barrington serving as deacon and in many other rolls.
