Mrs. Consuelo Lazo St. Denis, 85, of Sharpsburg died Friday, March 11, 2011, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Chelo, as she preferred to be called was born July 6, 1925 in Lima, Peru, South America. She lived in many parts of the world and the U.S. and ultimately in East Point and Sharpsburg, GA. Chelo was a homemaker and a mother, a loving wife for over 50 years to the late Leo St. Denis. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, keeping up with world events and was a big “talk radio” show fan. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. Chelo is survived by son, Paul St. Denis of Humble, TX; daughter, Yvette Camp & husband William Thomas “Tom” Camp of Sharpsburg; three sisters, Julia Bodiford, Elsa Koency both of Temple, TX, Blanca Leahman of Murphy, NC; and many beautiful nieces and their families in New York, Texas, California and Mexico.
