Constantine C. “Gus” Cocordas, 80 of Burlington passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday at home. Son of the late Chris and Harriette Cocordas, Gus was born and raised in Bristol, PA then later moved to Burlington, NJ. He was partners with Frank E. Mignoni Real Estate & Insurance Co., Inc. in Bristol for nearly 50 years till his retirement. He was also partners in Penta Corp of Huntington Valley, PA for nearly 20 years. He was a graduate of Bristol HS Class of ’47.
He was a founding member of the Bristol Junior Chamber of Commerce. Current President of Bristol Camera Club, in his earlier years he had a great love for photography, and was the first official photographer for the Bristol Courier Newspaper. He was a member of the Ahepa Trenton Chapter. He was a member of St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, 615 Mercer St., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
He was predeceased by his only son Chris C. Cocordas in 1996, his sister Catherine J. Stratis and brother in law Spiro Kapino of Athens Greece. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 53 years Chrysoula “Susan” (nee:Vlahiotis) his daughter and son in law Sophia & Dimitri Manetas of Columbus, NJ. His beloved grandchildren Anthi ,Chrysoula Manetas and Constantine Cocordas. He is also survived by his brothers John & Enie Cocordas, sisters in law, brothers in law of Greece, many nieces, nephews and friends.
