Constance J. (Pestritto) Myslak, 85, of Newington, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Angelo and Julia (Bibisi) Pestritto, she resided in New Britain for many years before moving to Newington in 1963. She worked in sales for Dutch Maid and Minnesota Woolens before becoming an RN at New Britain General Hospital for many years. Constance was a member of Holy Spirit Church in Newington where she sang in their choir. Singing was an important part of her life and she also sang in the Sounds of New England choral group and was a charter member of the Sweet Adelines choral group. She loved travelling, cooking and hosting parties. She was a very talented baker, making several wedding cakes over the years. Constance leaves her four children; Patricia Myslak Clark and her husband Phil of West Granby, Robert of Newington, Barbara Roetert and her husband Paul of VA. and Henry Jr. of Newington; her grandchildren, Daniel Roetert, Michael Myslak and Allison Myslak; and her great-grandson Luke Sebastian Myslak. She was predeceased by her sister Josephine Cicitto.
