She worked many years for the Taylor County Board of Education as a cook at the Grafton Middle School and then went on to cook meals for the Taylor County Senior Center as Nutrition Coordinator. Connie loved serving on the Nurturing Committee preparing meals for her church family. She also enjoyed cooking at The Bread of Life Mission while volunteering on the board. She was an avid reader, loved her cats, enjoyed gardening, going camping, and cooking on the open fire. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family while making memories with each of them.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice and caregivers: Billie Curtis, Kathy Keller, and Carol Boylen for taking care of Connie at home.
