Constance H. “Connie” Bartoszewicz, 69, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away at 6:35 p.m. Friday July 1, 2016 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Connie was born on November 9, 1946 to the late Thaddeus and Helen (Graczyk) Ciszewski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident. Along with her parents; she was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ciszewski; and her beloved dog, Smokey.
She graduated in 1964 from Central High School in South Bend, IN; and retired in 2005 from AT&T in South Bend, IN, where she worked as a clerk for 38 years. Connie also helped out on the family farm and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her two daughters, Debra Mrozinski; Kelly (Marc) Mrozinski ; one son, David (Kelli) Bartoszewicz, all of New Carlisle, IN; her former husband and good friend, Eugene Bartoszewicz; nine grandchildren, Thommy, Austin, Jordan, Aaron, Jacob, and Emily Mrozinski; Dustin, Lucas, and Hunter Bartoszewicz; and her beloved cat, Booty.
Connie was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish in New Carlisle, IN, where she was a devoted member of the church. Most importantly Connie was a dedicated and giving mother and Busia (grandmother); and a very loving and outgoing person, who had a wonderful sense of humor. Connie will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
